My tough love approach (heavy on the love) focuses on bringing order to chaos, and creating solid (and straightforward) strategic plans. I take surveys for fun, never met a process I didn’t like, and am a big believer in personal growth as a keystone to business growth.
One of my biggest tips when teaching others how to provide stellar customer service (another of my superskills, born from 25+ years of experience) is to “answer the unasked question”.
Unfortunately, we’re booked up at the moment and are not taking on any new clients in this capacity.
If you’re looking for an OBM and are dying to work with me (aww… shucks. ☺️ Thanks!) you can check out my Business Management Oversight package on this page right here.
If you need a VA or an OBM (and aren’t attached to that being me) I’d be happy to share a job description and your contact info with a large group of VAs that I know if that would be helpful.
Click here to submit the details of the job and I’ll have it shared within a day or two.
I need a VA/OBM, are you available?
What is an OBM?
Online Business Managers are big-picture thinkers and know how to take your vision and develop a plan for how to get there. They typically take on the responsibility of planning and team management while delegating most of the actual tasks to other team members. They’re the overseers. Making sure everything gets done and fits into the overall plan.
Wondering if an OBM is right for you? Check out this blog or book a team planning session.
What can a virtual assistant do?
Answer: A lot.
From managing your calendar, handling customer support, and triaging your inbox to setting up your tech, implementing your launches, and handling your accounts payable - Virtual Assistants can do a lot of different things.
In fact, here's a guide of 50+ things you can outsource to a VA right now. The key is to find the right VA for what you need and that means getting clear on the role before you look for the person to fill it.
What is a virtual assistant?
This can be a tricky question to answer because over the last 5 - 7 years the term “Virtual Assistant” has been morphing into more of an industry rather than an individual.
There are so many types of VAs now that it’s hard to keep track but, typically, when someone says Virtual Assistant they’re usually referring to General Admin VAs. Someone who’ll handle all the little administrative tasks that eat up your time like invoicing clients, sending contracts, research, customer support, loading your email newsletter or blog, scheduling your client calls and managing your calendar.
Do you really do "any old task"?
Not really. Once upon a time we did a huge variety of things but nowadays… not so much. Now we specialize in business management and growth strategy more than anything.
What's with the name anyway?
When I first started getting my feet wet offering my services online people would always ask what I could do and the answer was always something like, “Well, what do you need? I can do just about any old task you want to throw my way.” Later, when I was stuck trying to find a name it just seemed to fit.
So, what do you do then?
We currently focus on Business Management and Growth Strategy Services. Meaning we help our clients scale their business without worrying about getting stuck every time they hit a tiny bump in the road.
We help them develop their business's path to growth and make sure everything runs like a well-oiled machine so they can stop struggling to complete projects and celebrate reaching their goals on a regular basis.
How do I get my very own Sandra?
Currently, there are only two ways to work with me directly long term; via a Lean 13 Business Management Pack or by joining Scale Society. You can learn more about them here. However, if you need a little help figuring out your next steps, planning your next launch, or deciding who to hire next you can book a consultation or a team planning session any time.
Where do I find a unicorn VA?
This is where I need to move into loving butt-kicking mode and just be blunt. Unicorns, if they exist at all, are exceedingly rare. Please, please, please, do not waste your time and money hunting for a unicorn. What you need to find is a reliable, well trained horse you can work with. Given time, further training, and lots of respect your horse will be able to outperform any unicorn.
What are Tarzan Kay and Laura Belgray like?
Weird question. I thought we were talking about me. :/ Well, since you asked... what you see is very much what you get with both of them. There’s no fakey-fake IG glamour shots. TK and LB keep it very real and very entertaining. I am exceedingly lucky to have the opportunity to work with and learn from them both.
When I first started working with Sandra I was making less than $100k a year. I was working my brain buns off while sitting on my physical ones for 10+ hours a day. I had no idea how to scale or delegate, but having access to Sandra’s genius changed everything.
3 years later and I’m so close to hitting 7-figures, working half as much as I used to, building a team, just bought my dream farm, and I’m having more fun in my business than ever before. Sandra has helped me every step of the way. When I think about not having access to her invaluable insights and support I spiral a bit. I’ve told her multiple times to please never leave me. She’s that good.
If you have the chance to get this brilliant, big-hearted, and badass business scaling strategist in your corner, don’t hesitate. Sandra should be charging 10 times what she does and one day she’ll listen ;)

Sandra Booker, Founder of Changemaker Inc. (home to Any Old Task and The VA Studio) and creator of Scale Society, is an online business manager and growth strategist. She, with the help of her small but mighty team, specializes in helping overworked, overwhelmed, multi-hatted entrepreneurs become the CEOs of sustainably scalable, and powerfully profitable businesses.
After helping local businesses thrive, and receiving accolades in her community (like the 40 Under 40 award) Sandra turned her attention to the world of online service providers, and her clients include familiar names like Chanti Zak, Tarzan Kay, and Laura Belgray.
In her (efficiently used) spare time, she teaches others how to build and grow their own 6-figure virtual assistant practices and is on a mission to create a million jobs by helping her clients and students scale their businesses.
Calmer of storms and creator of mega-awesome content is the office rock, and an all-round super nice guy. Give Caleb a steaming hot, black coffee and watch him grind out the big tough jobs and then delicately finesse the specialist work. His needs are simple; professional development, peace, love, positivity and French fries.
When Caleb is not using his mad audio and video editing chops to create – he’s jotting down plot devices for his first novel and/or major motion picture. You may just want to be extra nice to him now, so he remembers you when he hits the big-time. Caleb… Clooney on line one.
Laura is a service provider’s dream come true. With her incredibly high attention to detail, unquenchable thirst for learning, and her drive to get things done right, Laura supports our clients in moving their mission forward.
When not skillfully setting up SOPs or proactively handling that task you thought you’d have to do yourself, you’ll find Laura lounging at her cottage, reading the latest thriller, cocktail in hand and salty snacks (and her beloved dog Milo) at her side.
Help results-driven, overwhelmed, soul-centered service providers reach their biggest business goals while reducing their tactical workload and allowing them to work more fully in their area of genius.
We help them through integrated, strategic, and customized support services designed to help them identify and articulate their goals, assess what and who they need to get there, and then connecting them with the virtual assistant support and business management oversight to bring those goals to fruition.
The change we want to make is to have our clients go from overworked, overwhelmed, multi-hatted entrepreneurs to fully supported CEOs of sustainably scalable, and powerfully profitable businesses.
We will know we are successful when we are recognized and respected as the number one place to go for support and management services in the online space and have helped each of our clients reduce their workload and overwhelm while consistently crushing their goals.
We treat our clients business as if it were our own. We are passionate about them achieving their goals without burning out.

When we help our clients, colleagues, and peers succeed, we succeed.
Stellar customer service comes from anticipating the needs of our clients, and going above & beyond the expected.
To excel at taking care of others we must also take care of ourselves. We can't carry the load if we don't fuel the tank.
We are a soul centred business with a goal to impact a billion people through service by supporting other soul centred businesses in their mission.
